Biometric system to monitor attendance

GUNTUR: Computerized Biometric system will be introduced to evaluate and regularise the attendance of the students of about 200 colleges under JNTU Kakinada, said Vice-Chancellor Allam Appa Rao.

Addressing a gathering of students and parents after formal inaugural of Eswar College of Engineering, Kesanupalli near Narasaraopet in Guntur District, he congratulated the members of Shaik Dada Saheb Charitable Trust, for sponsoring the college and naming it Eswar College of Engineering with a non-minority status, thus bringing in religious harmony to the region.While congratulating trust chairman Meeravali, correspondent Kareem, and director Sharif of the college , he advised the students to think differently and creatively. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various events conducted .
